Annamarie Wagner

Annamarie Wagner has been a qualified Occupational Therapist for over 24 years and has a BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy Degree. She is State Registered in the United Kingdom and South Africa, a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health Professions Council, Information Commission Officer and holds an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.

Annamarie has extensive experience in the treatment of children and adults with catastrophic brain injuries. She has managed and developed multi-disciplinary rehabilitation services within schools, hospitals, private and statutory acute and community settings. Annamarie’s experience also includes Orthopaedics (Trauma and Elective), Surgery, Accident and Emergency, Rheumatology and Stroke Rehabilitation. Annamarie’s training and knowledge includes orthotics, specialist wheelchair and seating assessments, accommodation adaptations and complex equipment prescription, standardised and non-standardised cognitive, functional, neuro-developmental, visual perceptual and movement assessments, functional electro stimulation, orthotics and management of abnormal tone. Annamarie has developed close connections with a number of specialist support charities and service providers to enhance the quality of life and opportunities for her clients. Annamarie is also an Expert Witness, assessing and producing medico-legal reports on clients with complex paediatric and neurological needs and has given evidence in Court. Annamarie has registered Wagnertherapies Ltd in 2013, providing independent neuro and paediatric occupational therapy and rehabilitation services within the field of catastrophic personal injuries.
