Caitlin Ralphs

Specialist Neuro and Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Caitlin is a Specialist Neuro and Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience in both the public and private sector. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa) in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. In 2019, she received her MSc in Advanced Occupational Therapy from Salford University (United Kingdom). Caitlin is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of both the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Since qualifying, Caitlin has worked in a variety of settings, supporting children and young adults in school, home, community, hospital and clinic environments. She is passionate about child and family-centred therapy and seeks to improve clients' engagement and participation in life roles through bespoke intervention plans.

Caitlin has extensive experience in implementation of a wide variety of intervention approaches and considers careful analysis of performance in daily life roles. She values partnering with the team around the client to ensure therapy is embedded into daily routines and that intervention is focused on activity performance and participation.  

Caitlin positively embraces evidence-based practice and is a keen life-long learner. She is trained in Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy, Bimanual Hand Therapy, the CO-OP Approach, the Learn Play Thrive Approach and has completed Sensory Integration (modules 1 and 2).
